An Original Song: A Healer’s Touch

 

For a long time I’ve been working on this song! I kept picking it up and putting it back down. Life has just been crazy busy! This song is all about how amazing having a nurse at the bedside is! There is no better feeling than being able to hold your patients hand in a hard time, and THEY appreciate it too!  Some of the lyrics were inspired by a patient I had who recently passed from a terrible diagnosis. I was with that family until the end. It was a long and hard 6 months. The thought of writing the song came from The Healers Touch sculpture issued by the DAISY Foundation to its winners! I promised Bonnie Barnes, the president of the foundation, that I would finish this song someday soon! Here it is! I love singing and playing guitar in my spare time! It’s therapeutic and rejuvinating! Excited to share with you guys! There is no better feeling, than a healers touch! Thanks for ALL of your healing touches everyday!
