A Few Last Things
•This is not a “Get Rich Quick” scheme. Growing a direct sales business TAKES TIME! I’m currently generating between 4-6k a month after 2 years of consistent work and effort! It’s made a HUGE difference in my life as I was able to stop working full time to focus on growing my business further, but I put a lot of time & effort into growing!
•It’s not for everyone, but it can be. You may jump into this wanting to feel out the water. While I thoroughly enjoy what I do and what I sell, I’ve had to overcome some mental barriers to grow out of my comfort zone and build both my personal and business confidence! It has turned my into a NEW confident and strong entrepreneur! I love evolving and self growth and that is something that you have to be willing to do! With the right company and right leaders above you, it is a life changing and GIVING experience that I HIGHLY recommend for anyone wanting to grow!
•Don’t buy into a lot of debt. Make sure the company you ultimately choose isn’t putting you into debt. Be smart about your approach. My husband and I gave my business 3 months. I had to prove to him that in 3 months I was at least doubling what I was putting in. If in 3 months after SERIOUS effort we weren’t “there”, I was going to step back. Be wise with your money, even when trying to grow it.
•Mindset- When growing in direct sales, you HAVE to support your mindset! This means podcasts, marketing books, reading blogs, having a business mentor (someone in your company for accountability) and just material that fuels your brain with the right information on a regular basis. Growing a successful direct sales business takes a lot of trial and error. You only “fail” when you quit. My biggest piece of advice is to always try and reflect on your outcome. If it wasn’t what you wanted it to be, ask yourself “Why?’ Don’t sulk in the emotion of failure or rejection. Push that aside and ask yourself “What went wrong and how can I improve.” THIS. This is how you succeed.
*Everyone grows differently. Don’t compare yourself to how others are growing. Look at YOUR strengths and grow how you want to grow. If it’s through social media, awesome. If it’s growing a business through an incredibly strong in-person network, even better! Everyone does these businesses differently, and you have to connect with your heart & strengths.
