Practice What You Preach! 5 EASY and HEALTHY Recipes Created For A Working Nurses Schedule!

  1. Hi Kelsey!!! You are so awesome at blogging! I look forward to your emails everyday. I’m going back to CVR/ICU after raising my three children. Two of whom suffered with serious asthma. It’s scary but I went back to school for a refresher and bought the AACCN’s current critical care book. I study on my off days a lot!!!
I’m battling rheumatoid and another auto immune connective tissue disorder AND I’m 53. But I won’t let that stop me as I feel nursing is my calling. Sorry to be so cliche but it really is. I lost my dad at just 50 years old to heart disease. He had his first CABG at 39. I was in the unit with him a great deal growing up and his nurses made such an impression on me that I was sure I wanted to help others going thru the same circumstances.
All of that to say thank you for reaching out to your fellow nurses with such heart and passion. You are very special!
